Obituary of Paul Frederick Worden

Paul F. Worden, 97, of Owego, passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2017.  Paul was predeceased by his parents, Harold and Theresa Worden; his wife of 51 years, Laura Worden.  He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Douglas and Karen Worden; five grandchildren, Carla (Gary), Amy (Robert), Jason (Emily), Douglas, II. (Claire), Jesse (Christianne); eight great-grandchildren, Matt, Adam, Dillin, Colton, Eli, Lyla, Levi, Teagan.  Paul was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, graduated from Curtiss-Wright Technical Institute and worked as a draftsman at IBM Corp. in Owego.  He attended the Gibson Corners United Methodist Church and will be remembered for his profound love of animals.  The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 7, 2017 from 12:00 Noon  to 1:45  p.m.  with services to follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego, NY.  Burial will be in the Tioga Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made in Paul F. Worden’s memory to Stray Haven Humane Society, 194 Shepherd Road, Waverly, NY  14892.  Condolences may be made to Paul’s family at www.emfaheyfuneralhome.com.
