Obituary of Gloria K. Chase

Gloria K. Chase, 79, of Owego, went to be with the Lord, Friday, November 17, 2017.  Gloria was predeceased by her parents, Donald and Alice Kimball; husband of 35 years, Richard James Chase, Sr.   She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Joy and Douglas Albanese; son and daughter-in-law, Richard, Jr. and Carolyn Chase; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brother, Dana Kimball; long-time friends and roommates, The Traver Family.  Gloria was a very devoted lady and was a proud member of the Christian Faith Center of Endicott for 23 years.  She had a beautiful singing voice and enjoyed participating with the music ministry.  Gloria was an elementary school teacher and taught for the Newark Valley Elementary School and Owego Elementary School for 33 years.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego with her dear friend, Rev. Mark Traver, officiating.  Burial will follow in the Tioga Cemetery.   The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made in Gloria K.
