Obituary of Brandon L. Shaff

Brandon L. Shaff, 70, of Owego passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at home surrounded by his family.  Brandon was predeceased by his parents, Hiram and Ivah Shaff; brother, Fred Shaff; sister, Patricia Babcock.  He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Sheila Shaff; son, Hiram Shaff; daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Damon Walker; four grandchildren, Hannah and Taylor Walker, Emma and Elly Shaff; sister, Maryetta Deretz, brother and five sisters-in-law, Donald and Wendy Shaff, Gloria Shaff, Amy (Si) Mathey, Cheryl (Robert) Irons, Evelyn Marlin; brothers-in-law, Harry Jean Babcock, Daniel (Pickles) Canavan, Vincent (Jean) Nagel and the Truesdail Boys; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  Brandon was a Vietnam Veteran of the U.S. Army.  He worked for Borg Warner for 38 years.  He will be remembered for his passion of hunting, fishing and trapping.  Brandon will be deeply missed by his grandchildren, family and many dear friends. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, December 18, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego.  The family will receive friends Monday from 2:00 to 3:45 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.  Condolences may be made to Brandon’s family at www.emfaheyfuneralhome.com.
