Obituary of Carolyn M. Roberts

Carolyn Roberts, 80, of Candor passed away on Monday, February 19, 2018.  Carolyn was predeceased by her husband of  56 years, James Roberts; an infant daughter; son, Douglas Roberts; her parents, Alton and Ethel Ahart; brother, Richard Ahart; sister, Barbara Sanders.  She is survived by her children and their spouses, Karen (Bill) Rannings, Sharon (Andy) Keaton, Brian Roberts; special daughter, Deborah (Rob) Teribury; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; brother, Alan (Jean) Ahart, sister, Rita Quinlan; her extended family, Jennifer Sue Wallis and her son, Cody, Lynne (Royce) Roberts, Pam Dammeir; several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Carolyn served as Town of Candor Clerk for many years.  She was a member of the VFW Post #1371 Auxiliary, honorary life member of American Legion Post #907, life member of American Legion Post #907 Ladies Auxiliary.  Carolyn will be remembered for her love of family, community, nature and her patriotism for our great Nation.  The family will receive friends Saturday, February 24, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 137 Main Street, Candor.  An American Legion Memorial Auxiliary Service will be held at 10:45 a.m. followed by services conducted by Rev. Phil Jordan at the funeral home.  Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery in the Spring.  Memorial contributions may be made in Carolyn Roberts memory to the Candor American Legion Post #907 – Building Fund, P.O.
