Obituary of Julia P. Johnson
Julia P. Johnson, 88, of Willseyville, NY passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Riverview Manor in Owego, NY. She was born January 4, 1930 to Grace and Arthur Vanderpool in Big Flats, NY. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her two husbands, Francis Quick and Alfred Johnson; grandson, Ethan Quick; sisters, Mary Doucett, Arta Swansbrough. Julia is survived by her sons, Daryl Quick, LaVerne (Rebecca) Quick, Sr. and family; brother, Arthur (Shirley) Vanderpool, Jr.; sisters, Lucy Norris, Rena Walters, Alice (Bill) Hollenbeck, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday, March 30 from 10 to 11:45 at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 137 Main Street, Candor, with funeral services to follow at 12 noon. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Smith Valley Cemetery, c/o Treasurer, 170 Slate Road, Candor, NY, 13743 for cemetery maintenance in Julia’s memory. Julia served as a cemetery trustee for many years.
