Obituary of James L. Scott

James “Jim” Scott, 75, of Candor, passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018.  Jim was predeceased by his son, Mark Scott.  He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Evelyn Scott; daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and David Orendorff; three grandchildren, Jonathan, Amanda, Robert; two great-grandchildren, Mark, Sophia; several step-grandchildren; sister, Linda Nichols, two brothers and sister-in-law, Marty and Pauline Scott, Ed Scott, brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-law, Donnie and Betty Hover, James and Diane Hover, Mary Zimmer, Peggy Tomasky; several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Jim worked for Agway and Scott Smith and Son, Inc. for many years. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 137 Main St., Candor, NY with the Rev. Phil Jordan, officiating.  Burial will follow in the Woodbridge Cemetery, Catatonk, NY.  The family will receive friends Thursday Evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Condolences may be made to Jim’s family at www.emfaheyfuneralhome.com.
