Obituary of Rosemary Morden

Rosemary W. Morden, 92, of Owego passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2018.  Rosemary was predeceased by her parents, Ernest and Genevieve Harter; three sisters, Helen Hover, Ernestine Ackley, Caroline Frary; one brother, George Harter.  She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Harry Morden; son and daughter-in-law, Jack L. and Sharon Schmitt; daughter, Susan G. Fortier; two grandchildren, Derek and Jeremy Schmitt; great-granddaughter, Annika Schmitt; several nieces and nephews.  Rosemary retired from IBM – Owego.  She was an active member of the First Church of the Nazarene and instrumental in organizing the JOYERS.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Church of the Nazarene, 3732 Waverly Road, Owego, NY with the Rev. Phillip Nase, officiating.  Burial will follow in the Tioga Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12:00 Noon to 12:45 p.m. prior to the services at the church.  Memorial contributions may be made in Rosemary W.
