Gloria V. McLean, 87, of Endwell, passed away peacefully at home with her daughters by her side, on Saturday morning June 30, 2018. She is survived by her three daughters: Victoria McLean Young of Greensboro, NC; Deborah McLean (William Eggers) of Webster, NY; and Christine (Fred) Collins of Owego, NY; grandchildren: William A. Young (Victoria), Gregory W. Young (Jenae), McLean M. Quinn (Evelyn), Christine M. Quinn, Ryan L. Collins (Sarah), Erin A. Harner (Dondi), and Chloe B. Collins; great grandchildren: Amelia and Tai, J. Spencer and Sperry Louise, and Caden and Nolan; as well as one sister, Barbara Harris of Owego, NY. Gloria is predeceased by her husband of over 65 years, William M. McLean; her parents John and Della (Hineline) Van Auken; son in law Gregory Young; sisters in law: Amy (Donald) Van Pelt and Jean (Bernard) Shenkman; and brother in law, Richard Harris. Gloria graduated from Owego Free Academy and went on to study design at R.I.T. She retired from Tioga Central School after 28 years as a Library Clerk. Gloria enjoyed gardening, books, and spending time with friends and family. An hour of calling will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 117 W. Main Street in Owego, NY. A memorial service will immediately follow at 11:00 am. Private burial will be in Tioga Cemetery. Gloria's family would like to thank Dr. Keith Nichols, Lourdes at Home, and the Good Shepard Village for their care and friendship.
