Obituary of Dennis Delmer Padgett, Jr.

Dennis “Buzzy” Padgett, Jr., 39, of Candor, passed away unexpectedly on August 8, 2018. He is survived by his parents, Dennis “Buzz” Sr. and Linda (Hartwell) Padgett; two brothers: Delmer “D.P.” Padgett III of Silver Spring, MD, and Rodney Dyer of Candor; two nephews: Eli and Levi Dyer; aunts: Sherry Klenotiz, Margo, and Monica Padgett, all of Owego, NY, and Tina (John) Blackburn, of Orlando, FL; several cousins; and many high school friends. He is predeceased by his grandparents: Frances and Delmer Padgett, Virginia Abbey, and Glenn and Peggy Hartwell; and his very special canine friend, Sophie. Dennis was known to be a workaholic. He had a great sense of humor and always made people laugh. He was soft spoken and lived his life to please others. Dennis worked for over 16 years with GAP Inc., and spent the last five years in London working for Albatross Global Solutions. During this time he was able to travel the world and experience cultures and cuisines that many others don’t have the opportunity to. He managed the London branch for the company, and oversaw and visited other countries including Ireland, Scotland, Belgium, France, Germany, and Dubai. Family will receive friends on Sunday, August 12, 2018, from 2:00 pm to 3:45 pm at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 137 Main Street, Candor, NY.
