Obituary of Edward J. Haley

Edward J. Haley, 81, of Endicott, New York passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2020, in Plantsville, CT. Ed was predeceased by his wife of 55 years; Janice Haley, daughter; Dr. Kim Ludovici, son; Edward Haley, and his parents Edward and Mae Haley. Ed is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Dianne and Ron Malin, seven grandchildren; Dr. Katharine Pollard, Julie Ludovici, Brian Ludovici, Haley Malin, Mary Kathryn Malin, Laura Malin, James Malin, great-grandson; Simon Pollard, brother and sister in law; John and Judy Haley, four sisters and brothers-in-law; Ellen Haley, Kathleen Talmadge, Connie and Bob Cooney, Flo and Mike Houston; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Ed was retired from his job as an engineer at IBM, in Endicott, NY. He enjoyed many happy years in St Augustine, Florida. Ed wanted to be remembered for being forgiving and hardworking, as well as being the kind of person that helped others and brought people together. Maintaining a close-knit family was very important to him, and he found comfort in the Catholic Church. Due to Covid-19, services will be postponed until further notice.
