David W. Ketchum, 84, passed away on Friday, October 3, 2014. Mr. Ketchum was predeceased by his wife, Carol, brothers, James and Paul Ketchum; sister, Elizabeth Ketchum. He is survived by his daughter, Cynthia Blount; brother, Seymour Ketchum; sister, Lucy Saeli; several nieces and nephews. David was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force , a graduate of Cornell University and retired from IBM. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego with the Rev. G. Terry Steenburg, officiating. Burial will be in the Genoa Rural Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in David W. Ketchum’s memory to Hospice at Lourdes, 4102 Old Vestal Road, Vestal, NY 13850. Condolence may be made to David’s family at www.emfaheyfuneralhome.com
