Obituary of Betty Jean Bachman

Betty Bachman, 72, of Owego, NY passed away on Sunday, March 14, 2021. Betty was predeceased by her parents, Kenneth and Frances Winters; brother, Gale Winters; sister, Paulette Boyle. She is survived by her three sisters and brothers-in-law, Louise and Richard Allis, Linda Charton, Frannie Kay Thomas; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ken Winters, Jr. and Rosemary Winters, Wayne Winters, Beth Winters; aunt and uncle, Ruth and Jim Van Horn; several nieces, nephews, cousins and their families. Betty drove bus with the Owego-Apalachin School district and was a waitress at the Park View Restaurant for many years. She was a member of the Mello-Dears Drum and Bugle Corps. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 19th at 10:00 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego, NY with live streaming of the services at www.emfaheyfuneralhome.com (click obituary). Burial will follow in the Tioga Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
