Goldburn "Henry" Williams, Sr., 87, passed away on March 19, 2021. He was born on May 22, 1933 in Owego, NY to Rev. John Henry Williams and Clarice Leon Smith-Murray. Besides his parents, Henry was predeceased by his wife, Joyce Crampton; sisters, Elise Brown and Bernice Alexander; brothers, Wesley Marshall and Harold Murray; son-in-law, Rob Agnew; and ex-wife, Vera Cockrell. Henry is survived by his children, Pamela Williams, Goldburn H. "Junie" Williams, Jr. (Anne), John Williams (Jodi), Catherine Fulwood (Kent), and Lynnette Kerwan (Thomas); step-children, Tina Robinson (Derek), Allyson Carr (Ron), James Rollins (Ilene), Jamie Carothers, and Brock Rollins; sister, Catherine Weeks; grandchildren, Latasha Williams, Joshua Williams, Andrew Williams (Lindsey), Amari Williams, and Ayla Kerwan; special family member, Lisa Nichols; as well as many nieces and nephews. After graduating from OFA in 1953, Henry proudly served in the US Army. He went on to work at the Tioga Foundry before working for IBM for over 25 years, becoming a member of the Quarter Century Club. Henry was a proud life time member of the Owego Fire Department Croton Hose #3 and remained active in football, bowling leagues and billiards. Henry's family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park Street, Owego, NY 13827. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at 11:00am at Saint Patrick's Church, 300 Main Street, Owego, NY with services live streamed at www.emfaheyfuneralhome.com (Click on obit). Please note: All state required social distancing guidelines are to be followed. Burial will follow in Saint Patrick's Cemetery, Owego, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Henry's name to Owego Fire Department Croton Hose #3, 87 North Avenue, Owego, NY 13827 and the Tioga County Boys & Girls Club, 201 Erie Street, Owego, NY 13827.
