Obituary of Martin Andrew Berthiaume

Martin A. "Marty" Berthiaume, 60, of Houston, TX and formerly of Owego, NY passed away on June 27, 2021. He was born on August 19, 1960 to Robert and Betty Berthiaume. Marty is survived by his son, Joshua Berthiaume; his daughter, Marissa Berthiaume; brother, Christopher (Susan) Berthiaume; grandchildren, Paige Berthiaume and Levi Mazzarese. Marty moved to Houston in 2013 to seek a more challenging business opportunity after owning Pest Arrest Pest Control for numerous years. He went to work for Versacor Managed Pest Solutions, a commercially focused pest control company out of Dallas, TX. He was promoted to Service Manager Houston in 2018. He was successful in securing and maintaining many large commercial accounts in Southeast Texas. Marty was an avid outdoorsman, a skilled gardener and a gourmet cook. Marty knew how to make anyone laugh and would befriend any stranger portraying his friendly and outgoing personality. Family and friends are invited to visit on Saturday, July 24, 2021 from 11:00 am to 12:45 pm at Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego, NY. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Services will be live streamed at www.emfaheyfuneralhome.com (click on Marty's obit). Burial will follow in Tioga Cemetery.
