Obituary of Wesley Alan Lurcock

Wesley “Hank” Lurcock, 85, passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at home. Predeceased by his son, James Lurcock. Hank is survived by his wife of 59 years, Frieda Lurcock; two sons and daughters-in-law, Paul and Linda Lurcock, Sandy Creek, Ralph and Angela Lurcock, Owego; daughter, Kelly Hyatt, Owego; five grandchildren, Edward and Henry Lurcock, Bradley Hyatt, Seth and Sadie Lurcock; sister, Joyce Lurcock, Owego; brother, Floyd Lurcock, Newark Valley; special nephew, Donnie Signs; several other nieces, nephews and cousins. Hank was born and raised in Owego. A veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired from IBM after 31 years of service. Hank was a proud member of the Croton Hose Co #3 and the VFW Post #1371. In honoring Hank’s wishes there will be no public services.
