Elizabeth "Betty" Babcock, 94, of Owego, New York went to be with the Lord, Saturday, October 30, 2021. Elizabeth was born in Richford, NY to the late Theodore and Francis Benjamin. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband. John "Jack" Babcock; grandson, Michael Babcock. Betty is survived by her children and their spouses, Paula and Richard Alter, John and Deanna Babcock; four grandchildren, Rick Alter, David Alter and Genieve Robbins, Michelle and Kevin Hester; Bryan and Lauren Babcock, seven great-grandchildren, Coley, Jackson, Madeline, Morgan, Avery, Owen, Paxton. Betty and Jack owned and operated "Betty & Me" Cutlery Shop, Washington, Ave, Endicott. Betty was a Deacon and active member of the First Presbyterian Union Church of Owego. She was also a member of the Women of the Moose. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 8, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Union Church, 90 North Ave., Owego, NY. Please Note: Masks are required. Services will be live streamed at www.emfaheyfuneralhome.com. (click Betty's obituary). Burial will follow in the Tioga Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego, NY.
