Daniel "Dan" J. Kurtz, 49, of Candor, NY passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2022. He was born on September 29, 1972 to James P. and Catherine T. Kurtz, Sr. Besides his parents, Dan was predeceased by his daughter, Charlotte Kurtz. He is survived by his brothers, James Kurtz, Jr. and Adrianne, Kevin Kurtz, and Gary and Karen Kurtz; as well as many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 10, 2022 from 10:00 am to 11:45 am with funeral services to immediately follow at 12:00 NOON at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park Street, Owego with the Rev. Phil Jordan officiating. Services will be live streamed at www.emfaheyfuneralhome.com (click on Dan's obituary). Burial will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at 1:30pm.
