Charles E. Estelle, 81 of Candor passed away on Saturday, December 06, 2014 at Robert Packer Hospital. Charles was predeceased by his parents, Ralph and Agnes Estelle; and siblings, Franklin, Inez and Floyd. Charles is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Jane Dickinson Estelle; children, Barbara (Robert) Morris of Candor, Daniel (Annette) Estelle of Tucson, AZ, Thomas Estelle of Northborough, MA, and Christy (Jeff) Lucas of Pontoon Beach, IL; sister, Helen Hull of Interlaken; grandchildren, Stacey Morris (Venkatesh) Yalamandala, Terri Morris (Michael) Mobilio, Michael and Adam Estelle, and Gabrianna and John Lucas; great grandchildren, Keanna and Luca; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Charles was a Past Master of Candor Lodge #411 Free and Accepted Masons, member of Stowell Chapter #495, the Order of the Eastern Star, and a member of the McKendree United Methodist Church. He served as an active member of Candor Ambulance Squad for many years. Charles was a lifetime farmer who enjoyed spending his winters in Florida after retiring from IBM with 25+ years of service. Charles also served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 12, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. At Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 137 Main St. Candor with Rev. Michael Breunig officiating and where full military honors will be accorded. Family invites friends to call on Thursday, December 11, 2014 from 5 to 7 p.m. Masonic Service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday evening.
