Cheryl Ann "Chery" Spicer, 66, of Candor passed away peacefully, Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at home with her family by her side. Chery was born, September 13, 1955 to the late Lawrence and Isabella "Pete" (Bolmer) Seeley. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her two brothers, Lonny and Paul Seeley; brother-in-law, Steven Spicer. Chery is survived by her husband of 46 years, George Spicer, Sr.; son, George Spicer, Jr.; daughter and son-in-law, Tara and Aaron Benesh; three grandchildren, Devin, Rianna, Alexis and her husband, Devon; great-grandson, Elias; three siblings, LeeAnn, Vicki, George; mother-in-law, Charlotte Spicer; sisters-in-law, Susan, Brenda, Janet; many nieces, nephews and extended friends. Chery was known as a compassionate, kind-hearted soul who enjoyed being with her family and friends. She always had a love for making sure her family was warm with home-made hats, gloves and blankets. She loved her job at Candor Schools and her kids there. Chery was a part of the Allen Memorial Baptist Church Choir and the Candor Community Choir, where she got to share her passion for singing. Memorial services will be held on Monday, March 14, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Allen Memorial Baptist Church, 8 Church St., Candor, NY.
