Obituary of Virginia R. Holowiak

Virginia Holowiak, of Candor, New York - It is with love and sadness that we announce the passing of Virginia Holowiak. She departed this world peacefully on May 9, 2022 at the amazing age of 92 years. Although the last several years have not been easy - various health issues and being separated from her family due to COVID - she kept her unmistakable laugh throughout it all. She has now rejoined her husband, William (Bill) of 41 years, alongside the Heavenly Father. She is preceded by her parents, Thomas and Mary Monahan; siblings, Anne Murtha, Theresa Blaseiti, Thomas Monahan, James Monahan, John Monahan; son in-law, Al Scholar. Virginia is survived by her sister, Margaret Schesny; her four daughters, Rosemary (Michael) Dalton, Ginger Scholar, Pat (Charles) Hine, Tess (William) Tuttle; as well as her 9 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday, August 5, 2022 from 10:00 a.m to 10:45 a.m. with funeral services to follow at 11:00 am at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 137 Main Street, Candor.
