Obituary of Keith A. Hughston

Keith A. Hughston, 77, of Owego (formerly of Apalachin), NY passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2022. He was born in Cortland, NY to Roger and Jeanette Hughston. Keith is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Suzzanne Hughston; children, Jeffery (Nancy) Hughston, Michael Hughston, Christopher (Michele) Hughston; grandchildren Andrew (Abbie) Hughston, Kyle (Hayley) Hughston, Samantha (Nic) O'Quinn, Heather (Randy) Crooks, Luke Hughston, Liam Hughston, Amanda (Lee) Lumley, and Melanie (Simmie) Driggers, 7 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. Keith was an Air Force veteran from 1963-1967. In 1968 Keith started his career with IBM in Dover, Delaware, then IBM, Loral, and Lockheed in Owego, NY. Keith enjoyed working in the yard, and flower gardens. He liked to experiment with plants and vegitables. He enjoyed spending time with family, and giving John Deere tractor rides to his granchildren. He and his wife would take long walks together, car rides on country roads, and treating themselves to their favorite ice cream spots.
