Timothy Paul Todd, 59, a big guy, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, June 23, 2022. Born in Ogdensburg, NY, he was the son of the late Edward and Doris Todd, of DePeyster, NY. He was predeceased by his sister, Deborah; brother, John; brothers-in-law, Jeff Daood, Clarence Walters. Timmy is survived by seven sisters and two brothers; Suzanne Daood, of Rochester, MN, Rosella Valentine and her husband, John, of Leesburg, FL, Mary Walters, of Washington, PA, Janette Swindell and her husband, Tim, of Endicott, NY, Nora Crowe and her husband, Ken, of Heuvelton, NY; Richard Todd and his wife, Susan, of Canton, NY, Mark Todd, of Round Lake, NY, Amy DeRieux and her husband, Walt, of Arlington, VA, Korisa Wright, of Marathon, NY., sister-in-law, Valerie Todd; widow of John, of Campville, NY; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and his extended family and friends from his Broad Street Community Residence. Timmy attended Heuvelton Central School and Northwest Tech BOCES. He also participated in St. Lawrence Valley ARC programs. After moving to the Southern Tier, he participated in many ACHIEVE programs and activities in Tioga and Broome Counties. He was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church in DePeyster, Owego and Endicott. Timmy was a loving and caring man. He enjoyed life and brought joy to everyone he knew. His sense of humor was mischievous and made him beloved of all around him. Timmy especially enjoyed being with his family and friends attending Todd family reunions, participating in Special Olympics, going to party nights at ACHIEVE, and summer camp at Sky Lake. Timmy's family would like to thank all his care providers at WMH NT 4, Lourdes Hospice and ACHIEVE. A funeral for Timmy will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at the Central United Methodist Church, 17 Nanticoke Ave., Endicott, NY. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m followed by funeral service at 11:00 a.m., which will be live streamed. Burial will be in Purmont Cemetery, DePeyster, NY. A celebration of his life will be held in DePeyster at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to ACHIEVE, 125 Cutler Pond Rd, Binghamton, NY 13905.
