Obituary of Cecilia Sofranko

Cecilia Sofranko, 95, of Owego went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Wednesday, July 13, 2022. Mrs. Sofranko was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Paul Sofranko, Sr.; parents, Andrew and Mary (Tomas) Kuhar; siblings, Michael Kuhar, Joseph Kuhar, Andrew Kuhar, Mary Wasilewski, Anna Lopatovsky, Theresa Parke. She is survived by her daughter, Janet Iyoob; son, Paul Sofranko, Jr.; two grandsons, Brian Iyoob, Timothy and his wife, Kerrie Iyoob; great-grandson, Milo Iyoob; several nieces and nephews. Cecilia led the Bible Study at Riverview Manor Nursing Home for over 30 years. Private graveside services will be held at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Route 17C, Owego, NY. Memorial contributions may be made in Cecilia Sofranko's memory to the Tioga County Rural Ministry, 143 North Avenue, Owego, NY 13827.
