Joanne L. Dimon, 77, of Berkshire, New York passed away July 16, 2022. Joanne grew up on a farm on Dimon Road, Berkshire, New York with her parents, Charles and Anna (Kester) Dimon and her cousin, Floyd Emerson. Joanne attended the Berkshire Congregational Church for many years and enjoyed crafting and being around people. Upon the death of her cousin, Floyd, in 1979, she moved to Valley Community Park in Owego. While residing there she volunteered at the Open Door Mission. In her later years, she resided at Castle Gardens and Riverview Manor Nursing Home. Joanne was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Anna Dimon; cousins, Floyd Emerson, Leon Emerson, Bernice Marsh. She is survived by her cousin, Bonnie Emerson Hutchings; dear friend and caretaker, Cathy Kelli; many other dear friends. Joanne is buried in the Evergreen Cemetery, Berkshire, New York.
