Obituary of Eleanor M. Newman

Eleanor M. Newman, 97, of Candor, NY passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 31, 2022. Eleanor was predeceased by her parents, Glenn and Maude Newman; three sisters, Glenna, Gladys (Lloyd) Bakeman, Florence Roberts; brothers, Ernest, Ralph (Mildred), Clifford, Karl; son, Martin Beebe; daughter, Caroline Swartz; father of her children, Lester Beebe. She is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, James and Pam Beebe, Larry and Linda Beebe; daughter, Beverly Taber; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Gerald (Linda) Newman; brother-in-law, Edward Roberts; sister-in-law, Janette Newman; numerous nieces and nephews. Eleanor loved gardening, quilting, crocheting and time with her family. Graveside services will be held on Monday, August 8, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Candor, NY with the Rev. Phil Jordan, officiating. The family is being assisted by the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home.
