Obituary of Bonnie Jo Lovejoy

Bonnie J. Lovejoy, 66, of Candor, New York, unexpectedly passed away, Monday, August 1, 2022. Bonnie predeceased by her parents, Douglas and Betty Frederick; sister, Janice Recelli. She is survived by her two daughters, Erica Frederick-Haner, Danielle Lovejoy; three grandchildren, Skyler, Thurston, Sybil; siblings and their spouses, Bruce and Mickey Frederick, Jeannie Warman, Douglas Frederick, Dawn and Brian Freeman. Bonnie was graduated from Pocono Mountain High School, was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from Cornell University. She was very community minded and was a member of the McKendree United Methodist Church, The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 907 and enjoyed volunteering with Open Hearts Dinner and other organizations. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 8, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the McKendree United Methodist Church, 224 Owego St., Candor, NY with full military honors being accorded. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Candor, NY. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the church. Arrangements are by the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home.
