Vivian M. Settel, 86, of Owego, NY passed away Sunday, August 21, 2022. Vivian was predeceased by her parents, Lewis and Grace Short; seven brothers, Danny, Lewis, Frederick, Alan, Douglas, Thomas and Gary Short; two sisters, Sally Haner, Carolyn Smith. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Eugene and Terri Settel; three grandchildren, Peggy, Barbara, Monica (Benjamin); four great-grandchildren, Juan, Jadon, Grayson, Cameron; sister-in-law, Carol Short; care providers, Peg and Gary Canfield; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Brett Rogers. Vivian retired from IBM – Owego. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. at the Riverside Cemetery, Apalachin, NY with her niece, Donna Martin, officiating.
