Obituary of June Marie Ink

June Ink, 83, of Brooktondale, New York peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, September 7, 2022. Her husband of 28 years and the love of her life, Russell, preceded in death. June was preceded in death by parents Guy and Marie Sherwood; brother Leroy Sherwood, and sisters Mina Babcock and Connie Wandell. She is survived by children, Terry and Teddy Smith, Tina Haviland, Dale and Roula Frost, Jackie and Michael McKeel. In December 2020, she received an early Christmas miracle by being connected with her daughter Cindy Frederick after 65 years. She celebrated the joy of numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by siblings, Nellie Moses, Grace Brooks, Doris Wyant, Starry and Sharon Sherwood, Ed and Lena Sherwood, Lucy and Dave Soper, Ruth and Dan Smith; numerous nieces and nephews. June and Russ created some amazing memories by helping to care for a special young man and family member, Lewis Ink. June retired from Cornell University and was an active member of the Caroline Center Church. Private services will be held with more information to be announced in the near future.
