Obituary of Morris Frederick Holden

Morris F. Holden, Jr., 82, of Vestal, NY unexpectedly passed away, Monday, September 12, 2022. Morris was born in Johnson City, NY to the late Morris, Sr. and Doris (Holmes) Holden. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Barbara Holden; son, William Holden; grandson, Justin Holden; granddaughter, Heather Yarian; two great-grandchildren, Taylor, Rawan; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Vivian and Paul Novak, Melba and Mel Friesen; several nephews and cousins. Morris was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, worked many years for IBM – Owego and later started his own landscaping business in Florida. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 22, 2022 from 1:30 to 2:00 p.m. with full military honors and funeral services to begin at 2:00 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego, NY.
