Obituary of Tammy Jo Garafano

Tammy Jo Garafano, 55, of Owego, NY passed away Monday, October 10, 2022 in Philadelphia, PA. Tammy was greeted in Heaven by her grandparents, Geraldine and William Signs and her brother, Bill Wheeland. She is survived by her husband, Jamie Garafano; four children and their spouses, Cindy and Ray Thetga, Cassandra (Matt) Cole, Tomi Lynn and Dalton Smith, Destyni Brown; eight grandchildren, Mykenzie, Mykayla, Corbin, Elora, Beckham, Haevyn, Kinsley, Maisey; sister, Tonya Simons-Michael; sister-in-law, Jessica (Jim) Morris; nephew, Kaden Wheeland; several other members of the family that loved her. Tammy was a very dedicated member of the OFA Transportation team. She was very passionate about her dog business, Pawty Pups. Tammy will be remembered for her love of her family, especially "her favorites" the grandchildren. The family will receive friends Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home. A celebration of Tammy's life will be held in the near future.
