Obituary of Stephen Ralph Erickson

Stephen "Steve" Ralph Erickson, 74, of Owego, NY passed away Thursday, February 16, 2023 after a long illness. Steve was born on May 31, 1948 in Bangor, ME. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jane Erickson; three children and their spouses, Lisa and Peter DeAngelis, Endicott, NY, Julie and Jim Outman, Owego, NY, Stephen L. Erickson, Owego, NY; eight grandchildren; numerous cousins. Steve was a graduate of Owego Free Academy and the University of Maine at Orono. He retired from the New York State Department of Transportation in 2003, after 33 years of service. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 21st from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. with funeral services immediately following at 2:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, 1321 Reynolds Road, Johnson City, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Stephen R. Erickson's memory to Mercy House of the Southern Tier, 212 N. McKinley Ave., Endicott, NY 13760.
