Obituary of Susan Kay Roofner

Susan Kay Roofner, 71, of Owego, NY went to be with the Lord, Saturday, February 18, 2023. Susan was predeceased by her son, Ryan Roofner. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Gary Roofner; son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Dawn Roofner; daughter and son-in-law, Dawn and Rev. Lon Williams; seven grandchildren, Rachel, Ashley, Ryan, Noah, Titus, Caleb, Siles; her parents, Thomas "Carle" and Louise Pike; two sisters, Aubrey and David Burman, Joanne Pike; several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Susan was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Newark Valley. She was an activities aide at Riverview Manor Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February, 28, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Newark Valley, 40 Whig Street, Newark Valley, NY. Burial will be in the North Norwich Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego, NY.
