Robert D. Merwin, 90, of Owego went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at home surrounded by his family. Mr. Merwin was born in Patchogue, NY to the late Charles and Grace Merwin. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Joyce Merwin; three daughters and their families; Julie Blackburn, Katherine Shea, Margaret and Alan Bobier. A Celebration of Robert's life will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Newark Valley, 40 Whig St., Newark Valley, NY. Private graveside services will be held in the Evergreen Cemetery, Owego, NY. The family is being assisted by the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home.
