Brian T. Barry, 63, of Candor NY passed away August 18, 2023 after a courageous fight against cancer. Brian spent his life surrounded by his family and friends, and his end of life was no different, surrounded by so much love. He graduated Ithaca High School, and was an active member of the Pirates Club, the Sons of The American Legion Post 221, of Danby, NY, where his roots were deep, and enjoyed being an active part of the Candor Legion Post 907 with good friends. Brian had his CDL License for over 45 years. He took a lot of pride working for numerous companies and helping his community. He most recently worked for the Town of Danby Highway Department and Robinsons Contracting. Brian had a deep love for golf and looked forward to Watkins Glen NASCAR race each year. He also enjoyed music, bowling, being outdoors, always keeping busy and attending any of his grandkid's activities. Brian was getting back into running and had plans to run races again, as he did when he was younger. He will forever be remembered for his dance moves, a fun-loving friend, a devoted father, and his well-earned honor of "The World's Best Papa." A special thank you to all who made Brian's party on August 5th, such a special event. He truly felt the love.
