Obituary of Frank J. Ambrose

Frank J. Ambrose, Sr., 84, of Owego, NY , passed away Friday, September 29, 2023. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone, for part of us went with you, the day God Called you home. Frank was predeceased by his parents, Michael and Lillian Ambrose; brother, Michael Ambrose, Jr. Frank is survived by his wife of 63 years, Betty Ambrose; children, Frank Ambrose, Jr., Debra Goodspeed; three grandchildren, Matthew Goodspeed (Sarah), Melissa Colasurdo (Christopher), Mary Harrington (Corey); great-grandchildren, Anthony, Addie, twins Maverick and Madison, Jack, Gracie, Abigail; sister, Florence Drotar; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Frank retired as a cabinet maker/carpenter with work of perfection. He was known as an all-around handyman who enjoyed gardening, cooking, his frequent trips to the casino and watching westerns. He will be remembered as a true gentleman and his memorable smile. His nature was loving and giving. His heart was made of pure gold and to us, who truly love him, his memory will never grow old. A special Thank You to his niece, Elaine Kucera, for all of her special acts of kindness. In honoring Frank's wishes he will be cremated and his cremated remains will be interred privately in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Owego, NY.
