Hazel May Barnhart, 98, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at the Riverview Manor Nursing Facility. Hazel is survived by two sons, Blaine Barnhart, Barton, William Barner, Nichols; five grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Hazel worked for years for J.J. Newberry’s in Owego and retired from IBM. She made wedding, birthday and special occasion cakes for many people. In honoring Hazel’s wishes, services will be held privately. Burial will be in the Vestal Hills Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made in Hazel’s memory to American Cancer Society, Tioga County Unit, 13 Beech St., Johnson City, NY 13790.
