Obituary of Dorothy Jean Jesse

Dorothy J. Jesse, 83, formerly of Owego passed away Friday, December 1, 2023 at the Mercy House of the Southern Tier. Dorothy was born in Muhlenberg Township, PA to the late Frank and Jane (Rutkoski) Zuzel. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Gordon Jesse. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Patrick and Kathleen Jesse; brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Peggy Zuzel; two sisters and brother-in-law, Tessie Hastings, Rosalie and Ray Citteroni; several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, 300 Main St., Owego, NY. Burial to follow mass at the parish cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego, NY.
