Obituary of Bertha R. Miller

Bertha R. Miller, 83, passed away in the loving arms of her children, Sunday, March 1, 2015. Bertha was born and raised in Camden, NJ and in 1998 relocated to Candor, NY to become a big part making cheese on the goat farm. She was predeceased by her husbands, Calvin A. Prairie, Sr. and Herbert Miller. Bertha is survived by her children, Rita (Russ) Kellogg, Candor, NY, Calvin A. Prairie, Jr., Mulberry, FL, Dorothy (Tom) Spencer, Endicott, NY, Nancy Pairie, Lakehurst, NJ; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 137 Main St., Candor, NY with the Rev. Phil Jordan, officiating. Entombment will be in the Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 11:00 to 12:45 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.
