Obituary of C. Ronald Blinn

C. Ronald "Ronnie" Blinn 84, of Candor, New York, passed away with his family at his side on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at his home in Candor. Ron was born September 30, 1939 at the family farmhouse on Blinn Road in Candor. The son of Lawrence and Mildred Blinn, known as Ronnie to his family and friends. Ron was a longtime farmer and later in life, he worked in welding and carpentry he enjoyed building things out of wood like bird houses, toy barns, toy boxes, and many many other things. Ron will be greatly missed and remembered by his children, Teresa Halstead, Wanda Clemins, Mark Blinn, Monica Blinn-Boulton (Shawn), Juanita Avery, Michael Blinn (Heather); his sister, Joyce Page; sister-in-law, Eunice (Ruthie) Blinn, 16 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, 1 ½ great-great grandchildren, special friends, Eric Halstead (Pat); several nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and many honorary children throughout the years. Ron was welcomed into heaven by his beautiful wife, Grace (Allen) Blinn; his parents; his brother, Bernard D Blinn; three sons-in-law, John A Clemins, John L Avery Sr, Fred Gump; honorary daughter-in-law, Betsy; beloved fur baby, Molly. Ronnie will be remembered for his kind heart, and his love of family and friends! Family will gather at a later date and time to celebrate his life. Ronnie will be buried with his wife, Grace in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Candor, NY, at a later date. The family is being assisted by the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home.
