Obituary of Philip Keith Harders
Please share a memory of Philip to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Philip K. Harders, 66, of Binghamton passed peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, February 5, 2024. He was a senior assembler at the current Lockheed Martin Owego plant for 38 years. His work ranged from installing various military vehicles with radar equipment to creating systems hardware for the United States Postal Service and hospitals throughout the nation. He was a fanatic of many different sports and teams but was most devout to the NY Yankees and NY Giants. His true passion was his family and friends, who best knew him for his humor. Everyone that knew him had comical tales to tell. He brought laughter and love into this world, which will now be sorely missed by all.
He is predeceased by father in-law and mother in-law, Stuart and Deanna Johnson. He is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Nancy Harders; son, Michael (Lisa) Harders; two grandsons, Nicholas and Timothy, who were his pride and joy; parents, Philip H. and Shirley Harders; two sisters, Susan (Steve) Babcock, Karen (Bill) Batterson; sisters in-law and brother in-law, Janice Johnson, Jenni (Dean) Bliven; nieces and nephews, Shawna (Tom) Sheehy, Eric O'Dell, Lesley Batterson, Haili Mills, Elizabeth Bliven, and many loving extended family members.
A private service will be held at Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held at a date and time later this year for all family and friends.
