Vincent D. "Vince" Kame, 83, of Owego, New York, passed away Friday, October 18, 2024. Vince was predeceased by his parents, Floyd and A. Ruth Kame; brother, Larry Kame. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Patricia Kame; two daughters and sons-in-law, Vicky and Joe Morabito, Cheryl Kame and Mike LaCourt; son and daughter-in-law, Vincent, Jr. and Joann Kame; five grandchildren, Joe (Nikki) Morabito, Mike (Alex) Morabito, Natalie LaCourt (Harry Yadav), Kendra LaCourt, Erik LaCourt; three great-granddaughters, Molly, MacKenzie, Abigail; two sisters, Irene Tychi, Betty Dresser; special brother-in-law and golf partner, Wayne McDaniel; several nieces, nephews and friends. Vince was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was proud of his time serving aboard the U.S.S. Halfbeak. He later graduated from SUNY Binghamton and later retired as a Quality Assurance Specialist with the U.S. Government. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff at Elizabeth Church Manor for the care provided to Vince and his family. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego, NY. The family will receive friends Friday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in Vincent D. Kame's memory to Wounded Warriors Project, P.O.
