Obituary of Hilda Rhoda Taylor

Hilda R. Taylor, 83, of Owego, New York, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2025.  Hilda was predeceased by three brothers, Norman Babcock, G. Lyman Babcock, Blair Babcock; sister, Linda Lethbridge.  She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Dennis Taylor; three sons and daughters-in-law, Timothy and Terri Taylor, Craig and Tamara Taylor, Dean and Jamie Taylor; daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Danny George; 10 grandchildren; three sisters, Evelyn Knight, Millie Coleman, Marlene Jewett; brother and sister-in-law, David and Kate Babcock; several nieces and nephews.  Hilda worked as a secretary for many years at Stakmore Co., Owego, NY.  She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.  Hilda loved to bake and play games.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at the Bumpville Bible Church, Rome, PA.  Burial will be in the Litchfield Township Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Friday, February 7, 2025 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the First Church of the Nazarene Church, 3732 Waverly Road, Owego, NY.  The family is being assisted by the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home.  Condolences may be made to Hilda’s family at www.emfaheyfuneralhome.com.
