Obituary of Thelma M. Lowry

Thelma Lowry, 91, of Owego, NY passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2015. Mrs. Lowry was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Donaldson Reigart “Spike” Lowry. She is survived by her two daughters, Linda and John Knudson, Binghamton, Susan and John Welch, Eldersburg, MD; grandchildren and their spouses, Jack and Gabriela Knudson, William and Natalie Knudson, Emily and Jeremy Chwang, Laura and Michael Billings; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Mitchell; several nieces and nephews. Thelma was the former Town Clerk of Owego for many years. Funeral services will be celebrated on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 117 Main St., Owego. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, Owego, NY. The family will receive friends Friday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the church.
