Nancy L. Ferris, 70 of Owego passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Binghamton General. Nancy was predeceased by her parents, Doris E. Whitmarsh and Howard W. Fitchpatrick; step-father, Charles W. Whitmarsh; husband, Lawrence Ferris; brothers, Richard, Thomas and Gary Fitchpatrick. She is survived by her sons, Andrew W. Pottorff, and Keith R. Pottorff; sisters, Janice (Earle) Heyman, Shirley (Gary) Hollenbeck, Cathy Andersen, Debrah (Robert) French; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and 18 nieces and nephews. Nancy was a loving mother, sister and friend who was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #907 for over 47 years. As per her wishes, there will be no services. Memorial donations may be made in Nancy’s name to Owego Emergency Squad. Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home is assisting the family.
