Dennis E. Harris, 58, died October 8, 2015 in Johnson City after a long illness. He was born in Johnson City to the late Robert and Alberta Kelly Harris and was an avid hunter, bowler and fan of the NY Giants and the Yankees and animals in general. He enjoyed spending time with his famiy, and especially his grandchildren.
Dennis is survived by his wife of thirty years, Lisa; his children, Carol Harris (Ian Gallagher), Justin Harris (Sarah Watkins); his siblings Kathie (Philip) Bidwell, Timothy (Cindy) Harris, Kelly Roupp, Robert (Beth) Harris, and Raymond (Lisa) Harris. He is also survived by four grandchildren; Shirina, Christopher, Ivy and Aurora. In addition to his parents, Dennis was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Howard Roupp, Sr.
A memorial service will be held at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home in Owego on Tuesday, October 13th at 11:00 am, with Rev. Jamie Stevens officiating. Friends may call from 10:00 o’clock until the time of the service.
