Obituary of Kevin Roger Pierce

Kevin Roger Pierce, 59 of Owego, died Saturday, October 17 at Wilson Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. Kevin was born in Endicott in 1955 to the late Earl and Dorothy Slate Pierce and was a local contractor and building manager in Owego. Kevin was known in the area for helping all those in need to find whatever help they may have needed whether housing, groceries or friendship. He is survived by his children Jessica (Dennis) Brenes and Jamie (Janet) Pierce; his siblings Keith (Tena) Pierce, Bob (Alice) Pierce, Earl “Butch” Pierce, and Regina (Joe) French; his close nephew Bobby “Hucky” Jordan; stepchildren Angela and Elmer “Bubby” Shugars; and several extended family members and many, many friends. In addition to his parents, Kevin was also predeceased by sister Sandra and her husband Bob Jordan. Funeral services will be held at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home on Park Street in Owego on Thursday, October 22 at 11:00 AM with burial to follow in Tioga Cemetery. Friends may call from 10:00 until the time of the service.
