Walter J. Harnett, Jr. , 86, of Owego, died October 21, 2015 at Riverview Manor surrounded by his family.
He was predeceased by his two daughters Ann Raponi and Jean Harnett, two sisters Mary McGinn and Gloria Harnett.
Walter is survived by his wife of 64 years, Lucy Harnett; his chidren Joe (Barb) Harnett, John Harnett, Terry Walker, Cathy Harnett, Jim Harnett; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 26, 2015 at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick Church, 300 Main Street, Owego. Burial to follow in the Parish Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 15 Park Street in Owego.
