Pastor Ted E. Davis, 89, of Barton, NY went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 9, 2016. Ted was predeceased by his step-son, Michael. He is survived by his wife, of 31 years, Jean Davis; seven children, Ted, Ruth, Lucia, Cynthia, Rebecca, Daniel, Joel; two step sons, Craig, Scott; 17 grandchildren; seven greatgrandchildren; sister, Joyce; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Ted loved the Lord and dedicated his life to being a faithful servant with his ministry and books. He retired from IBM. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Greater Valley Assembly of God, 104 S. Main St., Athens, PA 18810 with the Pastor Chris Gray, officiating. Burial will be in the Tioga Cemetery, Owego, NY. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the church.
