Obituary of Walter S. Jenkins

Walter S. Jenkins, 86, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2014. Walt was predeceased by his wife of 58 years, Anni Jenkins. He is the father of Jeffrey Jenkins; grandfather of Michell Jenkins; also survived by several nieces, nephews and dear friends. Walt was a WWII veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. and past commander of the Candor American Legion. He retired from IBM and was a member of the Tioga County Garden Club. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Estey, Munroe & Fahey Funeral Home, 137 Main St., Candor, NY. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery in the Spring. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
