Floyd “Skeet” Avery, 60, of Candor, passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2016. Skeet was predeceased by his parents, Floyd and Shirley Avery; infant sister, Susie Avery; two brothers, Boyd and Richard Avery. He is survived by his sister, Jeanette “Jen” Stahl; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Lloyd “Rusty” and Christine Avery, Jeffrey Avery, Tarry and Missy Avery; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Graveside services will be held on Monday, September 19, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at the Halsey Valley Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Floyd “Skeet” Avery’s memory to the Candor American Legion or the Candor Emergency Squad.
